Rhinoplasty in Apgujeong, Seoul
Rhinoplasty at KOKO Plastic Surgery
A nose that stays natural as the years pass
Some noses look neat at first, then change shape over time until the surgery shows. Rhinoplasty like that often ends in revision surgery.
At KOKO Plastic Surgery, we carefully build a nose tip that holds its shape for years, even if surgery takes a little longer. We aim for a nose that blends in more with time, so natural that it is hard to tell you had surgery.
The golden-ratio profile
Shaping your profile from ideal angles
As a guide for an attractive profile, the angle between the forehead and the bridge (the nasofrontal angle) is said to be 115–130°. The angle between the nose and upper lip (the nasolabial angle) is said to be 90–100°.
Drawing on many years of surgery, we shape the line of your nose and aim for a profile in balance with your whole face.

From forehead to chin, along the center of the face

- Brow
- Nose
- Philtrum
- Lips
- Chin
Forehead, brow, nose, philtrum (the groove above the upper lip), lips and chin. Shaping the line that links the center of your face keeps the nose from standing out on its own, for a natural look. Based on extensive surgical experience, we design a nose line that suits you and balance your whole face.
Rhinoplasty + fat transfer
Forehead and chin too, in one surgery
Your forehead and chin matter a great deal when planning rhinoplasty. Grafting fat to the forehead or chin during rhinoplasty can refine the depth of your whole face, not just your nose.
- 1You can have rhinoplasty and fat transfer on the same day
- 2One surgery and one recovery period instead of two
- 3Your whole face comes into balance, so the nose blends in more naturally
- 4Your profile gains depth, and your features look more defined
- 5It also refines the look of a flat face, a protruding mouth or a short chin

Main risks and side effects of rhinoplasty
- Swelling and bruising after surgery
- Infection or inflammation
- Asymmetry, or a result that differs from what you pictured
- An implant shifting, showing through or becoming exposed (when an implant is used)
- Pain or a scar where rib cartilage was taken (when rib cartilage is used)
- Contracture (tissue hardens and the nose shrinks)

Our doctor’s promise
We choose your materials before surgery and explain them
At your consultation, Dr. Cho chooses the materials based on your nose and the shape you want, and explains why. If something unexpected is found during surgery, he tells you about it himself afterward.
We never use a material we have not proposed to you without your consent.
After surgery, we walk you through each step, showing you video and photos taken during the operation.
