What is mini liposuction?

It is liposuction that removes fat from a limited, focused area. It suits people who want to remove stubborn local fat or improve skin elasticity.

Pain after surgery is relatively mild. Unlike standard liposuction, no compression garment or separate aftercare is needed.

Because surgery is short, puffiness and bruising are easier to limit and downtime is short, so it is easier to get back to daily life.

Aftercare

To help the wounds settle quickly, please follow these points.

• On the day of surgery, take it easy and rest as much as you can.
• For about 2–3 days after surgery, fluid injected during the operation may leak from the incisions. Puffiness and bruising last a few days.
• The incisions take about 7 days to heal. You can take a light shower from 1 week after surgery. Avoid baths and long sauna sessions.
• Alcohol and smoking slow recovery. Avoid both for at least 3–4 weeks after surgery.
• Once your body has recovered somewhat, light exercise such as jogging is fine. Avoid strenuous exercise for 2–3 weeks.
• During downtime, protect the treated areas from strong impacts.
