If your skin is tight and there’s little to no sagging, the risk of an upturned nose after surgery is considered high.

Be careful with silicone implants

Inserting a silicone implant is one of the major causes of an upturned nose.
Using silicone should be carefully decided, especially for those with tight skin as mentioned above.

It is important to choose a surgeon experienced in procedures using septal cartilage whenever possible.
