Sites for Liposuction

Whole body

The human body has three lines: from the armpit to the waist, from the buttocks to the thighs, and from the shoulders to the arms. These lines must be balanced to create a beautiful body line.

Liposuction is not simply about removing all the fat to achieve completion.

It is important not to remove fat uniformly, but to adjust the liposuction for each body part to create a slim body line with volume.

Abdomen

In the case of the abdominal area, since the fat is connected from the front to the sides and back, it’s important to suction it out evenly all at once. As the distribution of fat is wider than in other areas, a large amount of fat can be aspirated, which leads to high satisfaction. However, due to the scarcity of muscles, the skin’s elasticity is more likely to decrease after the surgery. As post-operative aftercare, it is recommended to undergo an abdominal lift.

Thigh

Thigh fat is divided into fat at a 45-degree angle on the outer thigh, posterior fat, and fat around the knee and the inner thigh.

It’s important to create a smooth line while maximizing the removal of fat from each area and maintaining a balance from the front, side, and back.

Back

The fat in the bra line area is removed to create a slim and firm line.

The fat on the back often becomes fibrous, and since it is not an area with a lot of fat, skilled liposuction is necessary.
Generally, it is even more effective to perform liposuction on both the upper arms and love handles at the same time.

Calf (of the leg)

The calf actually has a small amount of fat, but removing the fat that has developed along with the muscle will result in a more ideal line.

It is important to evenly liposuction 360 degrees around the calf to create a line down to the ankle and then to form a straight line on the inside of the calf to achieve a natural look.

Face

Facial fat gives a blunt and heavy impression. In this case, it’s possible to correct this by undergoing facial liposuction.

When aging is the cause, the lower part of the face—jawline—neckline tends to sag. In severe cases, a facelift might be performed simultaneously. In most instances, the removal of excessively developed fat and the healing process of the skin in the treated area can help correct the facial contours.

Features of Liposuction

Before surgery, we conduct a thorough analysis of the patient’s physique, age, fat, and the condition of the abdominal fascia to ensure that the surgery is performed accurately and safely.

Methods for removing only the skin fat, for sculpting slack abdominal muscles, for performing fat removal and muscle sculpting concurrently, and for paralleling liposuction with skin fat excision surgery are performed, tailored to the individual’s abdominal contouring needs.

You can correct your body shape to be slim while keeping your skin smooth and elastic without any irregularities.

It is possible to remove only the unnecessary fat, thereby minimizing tissue damage while eliminating fat. Fat near the skin layer can also be precisely removed, which minimizes skin sagging.

After surgery, we are conducting treatments for swelling care with high frequency and endomology as well as treatments to regenerate skin elasticity. We lift the skin that has lost its elasticity following liposuction.

Postoperative Care Instructions

1. Please take it easy and rest as much as possible on the day of the surgery.
2. Within 2 to 3 days after the surgery, there might be leakage of the solution that was injected during the operation. Swelling and bruising may persist for several days.
3. Please wear compression garments the day after the surgery or once the bandages are removed. Continue wearing them for about 2 to 3 months to help the swelling subside and the skin settle.
4. You may take a light shower starting one week after the surgery. It usually takes about 7 days for the incisions to heal. (Soaking in a bath or staying in a sauna for extended periods is not good for the surgical area.)
5. After surgery, please avoid drinking alcohol and smoking as they can slow down the recovery. If unavoidable, wait for 3 to 4 weeks before doing so.
6. After the surgery, once your body has recovered sufficiently, you may engage in light exercises such as jogging. Please refrain from intense physical activities for 2 to 3 weeks.
7. After the surgery, during the downtime, please be mindful of strong physical impacts.
